AZburners Fire Sculpture
Third work party photos - Mar. 18, 2006

We thought the weather at the previous work parties was cold. Boy, were we wrong. It was snowing a little in the morning but then it cleared up in the afternoon and got even colder. And windy. We had a good time anyway and made a lot of progress on the fire sculpture. We are almost finished with putting the metal skin on the fire tower sections.

In spite of the nasty weather forecast, we had about 17 people show up to either work or party. The party ended early, though. It was just too cold and windy to hang around outside.

The next (and final) work/party is Saturday, April 22nd. The goal for this party is to finish detail work and decoration. We should be able to do a test burn of the fire sculpture by the end of the day.
