This large
and incredibly ornate building was made of left- over wood scraps from the
manufacture of wooden items. It was amazing inside and out. It, like so
many other artworks, was designed to be burned and did exactly that on
Friday night. |

*The
opera was supposed to have happened on Friday night but the wind and
weather caused it to be postponed until Saturday. Here the performers
are getting ready to run a huge rope from the phallus (out of the
picture at right) through the yoni (pictured) for the purpose of
dragging the phallus to the yoni and then setting the whole thing on
fire. Live music for the opera was performed on the stage in the left
background.

| Dr.
Megavolt was a big hit on Saturday and Sunday nights. His truck
contained two huge Tesla coils which put out thousands of volts
for an electric performance. Here, Dr. Megavolt is being zapped
for our amusement. |

The
"Head Car" is what we called this bizarre sculpture
built on a golf cart chassis. It cruised around the playa most
evenings. It was a memorable sight to see this head traveling by,
covered with lights. |
