There was an
art car camp not far from our own camp with about a dozen really cleverly
modified vehicles. Here is a van with a Volkswagen attached to the top and
made to look like the van is being attacked by a huge bug. |

| In a
camp on the other side of the city was the giant goat. The stairs
at the back allowed visitors to climb up and stick their heads in
the goat's butt. Go figure!

An
aisle of art led from the center of the city to the Man and beyond.
The aisle was supposed to represent the spine with the Man at the
solar plexus. This sculpture of a seated figure was made entirely
out of books. |

 |
This
sculpture consisted of three huge faces, one of wood (at left),
one of copper (at right), and one of grass (not shown). There were
flames coming out of the eyes of the metal face and water came out
of the eyes of the grass one. |

| Another
set of huge sculptures along the "spine" included these
representations of the male and female sex organs and was the
setting for an opera on Saturday night. But night-time is another
story! |
