The "Art on Wheels" Parade

 

Art on Wheels will NOT be happening in 2008. We are taking a break from coordinating it and no one else has stepped up to take it on. So that's that!

We also had fewer cars show up in 2007 so it appears that interest is decreasing rather than increasing. That's another reason to stop.

It was a lot of fun for the three years we did it. Now it's on to other things You can still view the pages showing the cars that were involved in past parades.

The Tsunami on the Square WILL be happening in 2008. It's a fun for all ages one day festival. More info on Tsunami at the bottom of this page.

About Tsunami-on-the-Square

Tsunami on the Square is a free, all-ages, outdoor performing arts festival in Prescott, Arizona.  Named for “the natural event least likely to occur in the high desert,” Tsunami on the Square takes place annually on the third weekend in June, in Prescott’s downtown courthouse plaza. This will be the tenth year of the festival.

Tsunami’s programming is syncretistic, drawing on modern and global ethnic dance forms, performance art, music, outdoor theater, and circus: our mission is to build community through the sharing of (and participation in) the human tradition of live performance culture.
