About Cookies |
| What's a Cookie?
A cookie is a small (usually less than 1k) text file placed on your
computer's hard drive that contains information that you submit
and information about how many times you visit a particular site.
The placement of a cookie does not allow someone to find out
personal things about you that you don't want them to know. No one can use
cookies to get your name, address, e-mail address, etc. unless you
specifically give it to them.
How Does Zenzibar Use Cookies? To personalize our site we need to place the names and URL's of your favorite sites in a tiny file on your hard drive. The submission form automatically does this. We never see this information and really don't care what your favorites sites are. Each time you visit Zenzibar, the page, as it loads onto your screen, retrieves the information stored in the "cookie" on your hard drive and puts it on your screen for your convenience and use. In order for the "Personalize Zenzibar" feature to work, your browser must be enabled to accept cookies. This is important both for us to place the cookie and for us to retrieve it when the page loads. Return to Personalize Zenzibar
