After the bath and the prayers, it’s a long walk back to the Sangam.

The current here is strong and the water cold. There surely is no better way than this to feel connected to this River and this place.

In the middle of it all, I was surprised to see a large bloated hardbound copy of Tulsidas’ Ramayana floating by me and heading towards the pilgrims and the Treveni.

A daughter and a son giving their father a supporting hand on their way back to the Sangam.

A father, after carrying his two children a long way, looks for a foothold on to the Sangam ghat and dry land.

In one part of the lost and found camp, people resting and waiting to reconnect; waiting to see the familiar face of a loved one.
